A Very Merry Christmas

This Advent Season

We are nearing the end of the first week of Advent and I hope you and your Ministries are filled with the hope and joy, the preparation and anticipation of this Advent season.  At my home in the last week, we have chosen and decorated our Christmas tree, put up lights and candles, set out the nativity scene, lit the first candle on our Advent wreath, and filled the house with the sound of Christmas music.  I hope the children in your parish are as excited and awestruck by the Christmas season as my two kids are.  At their insistence, we sing carols before bed and this been a great opportunity to answer their questions and have little discussions about Jesus, Mary, Bethlehem, and of course, St Nicholas.

Please tell me all about the activities happening at your parish this Christmas season!  I would love to share your celebrations with the network in the new year.  I have added some last minute Advent and Christmas resources below.  I wish everyone a blessed Christmas and a happy new year.
